Tom Cruise’s continued success as a blockbuster actor is seen by many as an impressive feat these days. After all, not many celebrities can boast of consistently drawing millions of people to movie theaters every time they release a new film.
In recent years, the 50-something star has been mostly starring in action thrillers where he shows off his stunt skills. This taste for adrenaline also translates to his choice of vehicles he collects and drives.
And while the entirety of his car collection is impressive, one sports car particularly outshines the rest.
Tom’s Best Car
The vehicle in question is Cruise’s Bugatti Veyron.
If you know a thing or two about luxury and high-performance cars, then you may have already heard about the Bugatti Veyron’s outstanding reputation. It holds the distinction of setting the speed record not just once but twice.
The Veyron ruled 2007 with an average top speed of 254 mph and 2010 with an improved record of 268 mph. The French-made car held on to this distinction for years until 2017 when the Koenigsegg Agera RS took the top spot.
Aside from its top of the line performance, the Veyron is also a rare car to own as only 450 of it were manufactured. Thus, it’s not surprising that Cruise is proud to show off one of his most prized possessions and actually drove it to the premiere of one of his movies.
Impressive Car Collection
While he isn’t driving his Bugatti Veyron, Cruise has many other luxury vehicles to choose from. The movie star reportedly owns a couple of cars from the famous German automaker BMW.
Among the BMWs in his roster are models from the brand’s 3 Series and 7 Series. Of course, fans of the actor’s ‘Mission: Impossible’ film franchise would also know that BMW vehicles are featured often in the action movies.
In 2018’s ‘Mission: Impossible Fallout’ alone, Cruise’s character Ethan Hunt can be seen going from BMW to BMW as the film used models like the M5 and the E28
Going back to the contents of Cruise’s car collection, the actor also boasts of having two Ford Mustang Saleens, both S281s, in his possession. The vehicles are a collaboration between Ford and Saleen, which is an American manufacturer that specializes in high-performance sports cars.
