It’s common for sisters to dress in similar or matching outfits when the opportunity arises. Parents do it all the time with babies, so it’s only expected the Brown siblings would do just that when they had their 1976 pictures. If we were to pick a word to describe this photo of the Brown sisters, it would be “relaxed.” In the first few pictures Nixon took, the sisters looked so stiff, as if they weren’t comfortable. This time, however, they appeared to be at ease with the camera and even looked like they were having a good time.
Well, we would enjoy it, too, since it’s welcoming a brand new decade. They were saying goodbye to the era of disco and bell-bottoms and saying hello to what some call the greatest decade in pop culture history – the 80s!

It almost reminds us of the cast of the musical film Grease, mainly because the siblings are wearing some breezy tops and comfortable T-shirts.
